Retreats
We guide men to construct their own masculinity through the craft of woodworking—shaping wood and self with patience, precision, and purpose. Our retreat blends hands-on skill-building with reflection, brotherhood, and renewal, empowering men to construct not just projects, but lives of depth, resilience, joy, and balance.

Hands-On Woodworking
In partnership with the Vermont Woodworking School, this three-day turning workshop will introduce you to the use of woodturning lathes and practice both spindle-turning and bowl turning. You’ll walk away with several hand-crafted wooden pieces such as bowls, small containers, candlesticks or other spindles. No previous wood working experience is required.

Brotherhood & Reflection
You’ll work together with other men to give and receive support and connection during community times. We will use physical activity, mindfulness, open communication, and self reflection as a means of creating a community of men who can rely on one another and who are strong enough to be vulnerable, to ask for help, and to support other men through their struggles.

Renewal & Resilience
You’ll leave the retreat with a foundation in woodturning, the satisfaction of creating with your hands, and inspiration to keep building in your daily life. You’ll also gain tools to rekindle old friendships, strengthen existing bonds, and forge new connections with other men...because building community, friendship, and connection is every bit as creative as woodworking.
